About
AI Safety Gate is a safety and enforcement layer for production automations. It prevents unsafe, uncertain, or non-compliant AI output from triggering irreversible actions such as payments, messages, database writes, or system updates.
AI Safety Gate introduces a deterministic control point between AI output and execution, ensuring actions are explicitly validated before they run.
AI Safety Gate evaluates AI-generated output after generation but before execution.
Each validation returns one enforceable outcome:
- PASS — execution proceeds automatically
- WARN — execution pauses for review or defined handling
- BLOCK — execution is stopped
These outcomes are designed for workflow branching, not advisory guidance.
- Enforceable outcomesDecisions are terminal and machine-enforceable. A BLOCK cannot be bypassed by downstream automation.
- Fail-closed by designIf a decision is missing, invalid, ambiguous, or times out, execution stops by default.
- Workflow-native integrationAI Safety Gate is designed to sit immediately before irreversible steps in automation systems. It does not replace prompts, models, or business logic.
- Audit visibilityEach decision includes outcome (PASS / WARN / BLOCK), context and reason, and identifiers for traceability. Retention depth scales by plan; enforcement does not.
- Customer-controlled handlingCustomers decide which actions are protected, how WARN is handled, and when human approval is required. AI Safety Gate enforces decisions; customers own policy and response.
AI Safety Gate is not:
- Prompt-only safety guidance
- Chat moderation
- An autonomous decision maker
- A replacement for business rules
It enforces whether execution may proceed — not what your business should do.
AI Safety Gate is designed for:
- SaaS platforms with AI-driven workflows
- Automation builders and agencies
- No-code / low-code production systems
- AI agents that trigger real-world actions
If AI output can cause real impact, AI Safety Gate provides a necessary enforcement layer.
Once AI output is connected to execution, safety must be enforced — not implied.
AI Safety Gate exists to make that enforcement explicit, auditable, and production-ready.
